The Manchester Homelessness Charter was launched on Monday, 9th May. Its aim is to bring together different people and organisations to deal with homelessness in practical ways, based on a shared vision of ending homelessness in our city.
Individuals, businesses and organisations are showing their support for the Charter by pledging specific action to help tackle homelessness. The Diocese of Manchester and Greater Together Manchester have pledged to run the Winter Night Shelter in 2016-17.
You can read more about the Charter, or make a pledge, at charter.streetsupport.net. Why not pledge to volunteer or fundraise for next year’s shelter, and encourage your family, friends, employer, church or community group to make their own pledge?
